This weekend’s Macra na Feirme annual conference, 'Young Farmers - The New Environmentalists', is in recognition of the important part that young farmers will play over the next number of years in ensuring that Irish agriculture will develop in a sustainable, efficient and environmentally friendly way.
Macra’s annual young farmers conference is taking place in the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel on the 25th October starting at 2pm.
The conference will follow a morning of farm walks starting at 10am.
